Regulators are questioning Australian companies that provide electronic marketplaces to guard against price collusion and other anti-competitive practices, says the Australian Financial Review.
Cyberlynx Procurement Services, a business-to-business internet venture run by Lion Nathan and Telecom New Zealand, among others, was told by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission that its behaviour would continue to be monitored when it was given the initial go-ahead.
Regulators want to know whether owners of a trading hub can observe trades and exclude some companies.
