Irish PM delivers Christmas message online

DUBLIN - Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern has turned to the Internet to deliver Christmas greetings to the millions of Irish settled around the world.

The prime minister's office said the Christmas message would be available for the first time as an audio file, allowing Web users to hear Ahern's voice.

The text of the speech and the audio file can be accessed at the Department of the Taoiseach website (click on "press releases").
