Apple has finally announced a New Zealand release date for the iPhone 4S.
The update to iPhone 4, which runs the dual-core A5 chip used in the second-generation iPad, will go on sale on Friday November 11.
Pre-orders will be available from this Friday.
The device comes in either black or white, with the 16GB model selling for $1049, the 32GB version for $1199 and the new 64GB for $1349.
When released last month in a handful of countries including the US and Australia, Apple claimed to have sold more than four million handsets in just three days.
