International hacker pleads guilty

A 17-year-old hacker who jammed websites has been sentenced by a Canadian court to eight months in a detention centre and fined $400.

Known by his internet nickname of Mafiaboy, the youth pleaded guilty to 58 charges related to attacks and security breaches of internet sites in Canada, the United States, Denmark and Korea in February last year.
