Singapore Airlines is installing an inflight e-mail system for all passengers. The system, supplied by Tenzing Communications, is being tested on one of SIA's Boeing 747-400 planes flying the Singapore-Los Angeles route.
As well as e-mail, a MAS 3000 server on board downloads and stores web pages for passengers to browse. It will allow passengers to play multi-player network PC or Nintendo games.
