Q. "How do you get rid of the little >> at the start of every line of forwarded messages?" Renny saw the answer in Inbox a year or so ago, but didn't take a note of it.
A. Try this, Renny: Copy and paste the offending text into Word-pad or MS Word. Select: Edit/Replace. In the Find Text box, enter >> followed by a space. Leave the Replace text box blank. Click "Replace All" to clear the symbols from the text.
Highlight it all to copy and paste into a new email or document.

Q. Pierre is having trouble detecting a modem so he can get it working again after re-installing Windows.
A. First, Pierre, find all driver disks that came with the machine. If the modem disk is missing, remove the machine cover and look for either a model number or better still, the FCCID number Most modems are registered with the US Federal Communications Commission and should have that number printed on them). Use the FCCID search page to identify it.
Then use the maker's website to download the drivers.
