Q. Spy-ware drives a surfing paranoia wave. Tasha is aware of Adaware. She is curious as to what anti spy-ware programs are and which she should use.
A. It depends on how paranoid you are - you can run more than one at a time, Tasha.

(free demo) kills web bugs, worms, cookies, ads, scripts, etc.
(freeware) a spy-ware blocker, also clears cache/temp files and cookies.
Q. What are emoticons and how do they work? Patsy asks.
A. They are symbols you can place in your message when you use Microsoft messenger (otherwise called MSN Messenger). Activate the emoticons when in a chat with someone by clicking the emoticons button and selecting one from the list. Q. Automatic Update cancelled, resulting in the blue screen of death! Windows ME is getting uppity since Jan cancelled some automatic MS updates midstream! Now printing from Internet Explorer returns the dreaded blue death.
A. You will have to manually get all the updates available, Jan. Start/Windows Update and hopefully this will overwrite the incomplete installation. If the "Updates are ready to install" message pops up again, close all running software then allow it to continue. If you fail to close the software first, let it continue. If a program needs closing it will pause to inform you.
Q. Saving/backing up Outlook folders to floppy. Ally wants to save an e-mail folder from Outlook but does not want to save all folders.
