Hewlett Packard is extending its internet selling in New Zealand, appointing Supplyzone as its first accredited web reseller.
Supplyzone will provide an online HP "shop in shop" - similar to others around the world such as the online store at Amazon.
HP alternate channel manager Juliana Moss said the "HP authorised e-business partner" store was part of a worldwide strategy to give customers a choice of buying avenues while providing assurance through the Hewlett Packard brand.
The products will be similar to those sold at HP's own online store, which sells a range of business PCs, printers and handheld computers, but not HP's consumer-brand Pavilion PCs.
Ms Moss said she was in discussion with other NZ resellers and expected to be able to provide the XML (extensible markup language) formatted catalogue content to others next year.
