Hewlett-Packard acquires Dutch company

Hewlett-Packard has announced another acquisition, this time a $US629 million deal for the outstanding shares of Indigo, a Dutch company that makes industrial and commercial printing systems.

HP entered the commercial printing business with a new digital press that lets companies produce brochures and other colour documents in bulk themselves. The press combined Indigo technology and HP software.
