KEY POINTS:
A second trailer has just been released for the eagerly awaited latest title in Rockstar Games' mega-selling Grand Theft Auto series.
The highly un-PC series has come under massive fire for its content, but despite all attempts to ban it, none have succeeded and the game is well on the way.
Grand Theft Auto IV will be released on both Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 19.
You can watch it on Xbox Live's online shop or on the
Rockstar site.
As the GTA series isn't particularly kid-friendly, you will have to verify your age before you can see the page.
Rockstar also let out a couple of other facts to tease us:
- All footage is captured in real-time on a next generation gaming console.
- It will run on Rockstar's proprietary next generation game engine, R.A.G.E., allowing for an "unprecedented level of realism and interactivity."
- The game will use "euphoria, a fully procedural animation package created by NaturalMotion."
- The theme song is by New York City based band The Boggs and is titled Arm In Arm (Shy Child Remix) For collectors, there will be a special edition on both Xbox 360 and PS3. Besides a specially-packaged version of the game, it will contain The Grand Theft Auto IV Art Book, featuring never-before-seen production artwork from Grand Theft Auto IV, the soundtrack CD, a Rockstar keychain and duffel bag.
The fancy versionis will be sold in NZ in limited quantities for $149.95. Just the game will be about $119.95
