gen-i joins forces with NZ distributor

Internet integrator gen-i has joined forces with New Zealand distributor, Tech Pacific (NZ) Ltd.

The agreement will see gen-i, a subsidiary of Cullen Investments Limited, move its distribution warehousing and commissioning facilities to the Tech Pacific facility, located in Albany.

As a result, six warehousing staff at gen-i will lose their jobs.

Tech Pacific will store all computer hardware and software destined for gen-i's clients and also provide a facility where gen-i will configure customised IT solutions.

gen-I's general manager of procurement John Bessey says the new agreement will allow the company to deliver the products in a more timely and cost effective manner.
