The game allows players to sing along to 16 songs from the movie, dance and play through key moments in the story in mini-game form. It makes use of USB microphones for the full karaoke experience and the balance board or Wii remote can be used for the mini-games - most of which are about memorising gestures or copying button/movement combos on screen.
How excited will the modern gamer get about aping the hand jive and singing along to musical travesties like Summer Lovin' or Greased Lightning? Graphically, Grease is typical Wii fare that breaks up on large, high-def displays, even when using upscaling functionality offered by many AV receivers.

Verdict: Is this worth owning? If you're a huge fan of the most famous of movie musicals, then yes. If you're looking for a fun music game you could do better.
