A local casualty of the dotcom bust has reinvented itself, shifting the focus of its software from advertising to "enterprise ideas management".
OAS director Russell Walder said that when the firm began in 2000 its focus was in the online advertising market with interactive systems that rewarded involvement, but when that market evaporated it had to change tack.
"We realised it was a more powerful HR application or senior management tool to get the most productivity out of staff."
From 2002 OAS has been redeveloping and testing its main product, The Bridge - a knowledge management and idea suggestion system that also links to its own or other rewards systems.
"It's an ideas hub of everything that the staff from top to bottom contribute ... The more ideas and the higher up the implementation list it goes the more you get for it."
