hp photo: An easy-to-use album service, which also offers e-postcards, slideshows and more. Users may upload up to three image files of up to 5Mb via the website, but more pictures may be sent using the free Cartogra software, which also supports automatic scheduled uploading.
Club Photo: This album website includes some fairly advanced features such as the ability to rotate your images or adjust brightness as you upload them. Uploading software is available for Apple Macintosh computers as well as PCs.
Kodak: Kodak provides a free online photo gallery, but its online digital to print service (at www.ofoto.com) is not available outside North America yet.
My family: As its name suggests, this album service is aimed at family users and offers specialised websites for displaying family trees.
eframes.com: Online photo albums combined with a printing and framing service. Eframes also supplies giant posters, jigsaw puzzles and photos printed on canvas. The site accepts orders outside United States.

Frogprints: Penrose-based Frogprints prints photos sent by email in a range of sizes, for example a 6in x 4in print costs $1 while a 15in x 10in print will set you back $18. Standard mail delivery costs $2.50.
photo.co.nz: This Christchurch-based photo lab accepts digital files by email up to 1Mb in size in the TIFF format. Prints cost $5 each for 10cm x 15cm and $12 for 20cm x 30cm, with a surcharge of $5 an order to cover postage.
Jumbo: Even if you don't have a digital camera, scanner or even a home-based internet account, you can still create an online photo album with Kroma Colour/Jumbo Prints' Photos On-Line service. For an extra $7 on top of the cost of developing and printing from conventional film, Jumbo will put your photos on the www.photo loft.com album website for you.
Lifesimages: This Warkworth company has specialised in restoring old photos for over 20 years, but the digital era has added a few tricks to its repertoire. For example, one of the most popular requests by customers is to remove someone from a group photo and make a new solo portrait by placing them on a new background. The typical cost of a finished 10in x 8in print ranges from $20 to $130 depending on the amount of restoration work and the quality of print required.
