Ford's hybrid cars coming

Car maker Ford plans to expand its fleet of petrol-electric hybrid vehicles as part of stepping up efforts to make cleaner vehicles.

The company says a petrol- electric version of the Mariner sport-utility vehicle will go on sale this year, 12 months earlier than planned.
