Extra $3 a month for Xtra

Telecom internet provider Xtra has increased its flat rate dial-up access charge to $27.95 a month - an increase of $3 a month.

It also introduced an off-peak plan - Xtra Daytime Pack - a combination flat rate of $19.95 a month until 5 pm and an hourly rate of $2.50 between 5 pm and 11 pm.

The NZPlan is renamed Xtra Prepay 2, which provides two hours of internet access for $5, charged in advance, with additional hours at $2.50 an hour.
