Data storage company EMC says it will cut 1100 jobs, or 4 per cent of its worldwide workforce. The cuts are aimed at increasing its market share and boosting revenue 20 per cent.The company also said it planned several other cost-cutting measures, including reductions in the use of consultants and contractors.
