The New Zealand public has chosen the winner of the Doodle 4 Google 'I love football' competition.
The competition is part of a global World Cup contest, with Kiwi kids between four and 17 eligible to enter a soccer-themed take on Google's iconic logo.
Southland 13-year-old Holly Pierce was picked as the winner from the ten finalists announced last week.
She scored nearly a quarter of all online votes, and her entry will replace the Google logo on its New Zealand homepage on June 15 when the All Whites play Slovakia.
Her doodle will also be entered into the worldwide competition, with the overall winner being displayed on Google's homepage in all participating countries for a full day in July.
To vote for Holly's doodle in the international competition, head here from June 21. Voting will be open for one week.
