Clear upgrade fibre optic network

Clear has spent $10.5 million upgrading its fibre optic network in Whangarei, Nelson and Whakatane.

The project involved a $4.5 million, 205km fibre optic cable to complete a fibre ring between Auckland and Whangarei, a $4 million, 100km, optic network service from Blenheim into Nelson and a $2 million capacity upgrade between Tauranga and Whakatane.
