Clear Communications estimates a quarter of a million Kiwis will gain free access to online shopping through its deal with e-retailer Go-Shopping.co.nz.
Clear's free Internet provider, Zfree, will provide the shopping channel through its portal.
Zfree's 250,000 members will automatically gain membership of the service, which lets members shop online without using credit cards.
Go-Shopping.co.nz uses the secure electronic payment system NetFusion, which allows shoppers to buy online without transmitting credit card details over the internet.
