Brocker exits Telecom contract

Brocker Technology has withdrawn from a contract to distribute cellphones to Telecom.

This will cut Brocker's revenue by about $80 million annually, but chief executive Richard Justice said no profit was made on that turnover anyway.

Brocker now exits cellphone distribution entirely and 23 employees have been made redundant.
