Measuring internet usage in 23 countries, the April edition of the Nielsen//NetRatings Global Internet Index found net surfers across the Asia-Pacific region were the most active web users.
For the first time, New Zealand web surfers joined Australians in being the "stickiest" in the world - spending an average of 52 seconds a page.
The four top nations in terms of page views per person were South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
