After a barrage of doom around Apple shares last week, Apple fans will be pleased to know that the old magic is still there. On Friday, Apple announced the date for the Worldwide Developer Conference and tickets went on sale. Unbelievably, a mere 3 minutes later BOOM! All tickets were all sold out. The 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference took 12 hours to sell out, whilst the 2012 session sold out in a still impressive 2 hours. Clearly 2013 is going to be the year to beat.
Apple have used the Worldwide Developers Conference to announce new hardware and software in the past, and this year's conference is expected to see the launch of iOS 7 and possibly a few other surprises if the usual Apple Rumour mill is anywhere near correct. Current speculation within Apple's sizeable fan base includes a smart watch, an Apple TV plus a near endless amount of imagined iPhones, iPads and accessories. The Worldwide Developers Conference starts on the 10th of June in San Francisco.
