With a spoonful of determination and a pinch of passion, Rebecca Johns' dream of making the Olympics, competing in gymnastics, is most definitely within reach.
The 9-year-old Toko Primary School student added a number of medals to her collection at the Midlands Artistic Championship.
She was titled Midland champ, placed first on the beam and the bar, her team placed first and she placed second on the floor.
Rebecca is in the step three grade unders, which means she is in the younger section of the grade. However, at the champs, she placed first out of the whole grade, which included 44 other competitors
. She is part of the Waitara club, travelling there three times a week, for two hours' training a time. Rebecca loves a challenge and is working towards improving her vault.
