The Central Taranaki Indoor Bowls season has begun. After the first two weeks the results were as follows.
Midhirst A 2 points. Midhirst B 1 point. Cardiff A 5 points. The Club 2 points. Cardiff B 6 points. Both Midhirst teams have had the bye.
Four weeks have now been played and the results are:
Midhirst A 6.5, Midhirst B 2.5, Cardiff A 7, Cardiff B 10 and The Club 6. Cardiff A has the bye this week.
The competition has been close with good games being played.
The Champion of Champion Fours were played on Thursday night. The Cardiff team of Trevor Bourne, Paul Digby, Margaret Holgate and Janet Mckeown taking out this title. All clubs are under way now.
If anyone is interested in playing this season or would like to give it a go. Midhirst play on a Monday evening at the Midhirst hall. Cardiff at Cardiff hall and the Club at Stratford Club both play on a Tuesday night. Start time is 7.30pm.
