There were glowsticks galore at the Stratford Daffodil pirate and princess themed disco on Friday night.
This was the second year a disco has been held at the Stratford Rugby and Sports Club and organiser Kerri Dickson says it was a great success. "It was wonderful seeing so many children out on the dance floor and great that so many of them had gone to the effort of dressing up."
Kerri says with the number of children that attended and the sale of merchandise, the young people in the district have made a significant contribution to the community fundraising efforts.
Kerri extends her gratitude to the Stratford Rugby and Sports Club who gave the committee use of their facilities and Ray and Berna of Raybern Entertainment for providing the DJ services for the night.
"It was a really fun night and everyone had a wonderful time, we look forward to hosting it again next year."
