After three and half years at the helm, chief executive Sue Davidson was farewelled by the mayor and councillors at her final meeting with the Stratford District Council last Tuesday.
Sue has left the council to take up a new position at the New Plymouth District Council.
Mayor Neil Volzke presented Sue with a necklace and bracelet from Butchers Showcase Jewellers on behalf of the council.
"Sue has brought a lot of energy to her role in Stratford and she will be sorely missed."
Speaking on behalf of the Safe Communities Trust, Danny Bates said he was impressed when he heard she was volunteering to be a part of the community patrols. Danny added that Sue has been dedicated to the community, "she has been a great addition to the patrols and really made an effort to get to know the community".
