The winners of the Tag Oil Stratford Golf Club Strokeplay Championship competition were announced last Saturday after a long hard fought battle, says club captain Graham Kelly.
The annual competition was held throughout February with players in each section, junior, intermediate and senior, playing a knock out competition each week.
"We saw a very high level of golf throughout the competition, it was anyones game," he says.
John Kim claimed first place in the junior competition after making an early impression in the competition. In the intermediate competition Don Shearman took out first place and in the senior section Tony Cawley was named champion.
Graham says: "Congratulations to all players for their efforts during the competition, it was a great show of sportsmanship."
