This time of year is one of reflection, of wrapping last-minute gifts, spending time with family and friends and making resolutions for the year to come. Here at the Stratford Press we have been wrapping up our Christmas edition, something which gives us the chance to reflect on all the awesome things that happen in our town over the year.
The stories and pictures we have chosen to represent each month are merely a taster of all the great things we have reported on this year. We were truly spoilt for choice.
This year we have had some great promotions running, including our beautiful wedding guide, the Oceania Cup souvenir booklet and our Town Proud campaign. Town Proud was a great way to celebrate all that is great about our district, and we all enjoyed working on it.
Our community is a fantastic place to live and we love being part of it. We have a lot to be proud of here, as proven in the many articles we run about the amazing things people in our community do. Thank you to every single person who has called us up to tell us about something great happening in our town and thank you to everyone who has shared their stories with us over the year. It is an honour being invited into your homes and your businesses and having you share your news with us. We love celebrating your successes and are always happy to hear your news.
We are looking forward to lots more great stories to come in the new year and are always happy to be invited to your events. While we are all taking a well-earned break over Christmas, we will be back in the office in early January. In the meantime, feel free to email me with any news or pictures you would like to share.
