Run an amazing maize maze

Despite looking totally lost, these young siblings made it out of the maize in time to enjoy an ice-block in the sunshine!

The Inglewood Lions Taranaki Maize Maze opened last month and plenty of intrepid explorers made the most of the sunshine and headed out to Lower Egmont Road to get lost and have fun. Stratford Press managing editor ILONA HANNE went along to talk to some of the younger explorers.

These intrepid explorers managed to find their way out of the maize.

Inglewood Lions member Terry Yates was manning the admission stand on Sunday and said they had been pleased with the opening weekend. "The weather has been kind to us. Everyone has been nice and friendly as well."

The Inglewood Lions Taranaki Maize Maze is open every Saturday and Sunday as well as public holidays between 11am - 5pm. Located at 979 Lower Egmont Road, Egmont Village. Entry: $8 (adults) and $4 (children). Eftpos available on site.

The maize will provide hours of entertainment for families looking to have fun getting lost.
