Staff and residents at Elizabeth R are benefiting from the hard work of the Stratford Herb Society and local contractors who together have built and installed planter boxes at the rest home and retirement village facility.
Facility manager Brigid Bright is "extremely grateful" to all involved.
"This project would not have happened without the support of Ken G Moratti Contracting Ltd for the lining in the planter boxes, Hinton Contracting for the dirt and Stratford Metal Supplies for letting us have the use of their little digger and their time."
She adds that the members of the Stratford Herb Society have been "wonderful" throughout the project.
