Pool well-equipped to offer children's parties

Every day is a party at the pool, says Andrea Wilkie, manager of the Stratford TSB Pool complex, who says they are now taking bookings for birthday parties at the pool.

This follows on from interest from the public looking for alternative party venues, Andrea says. "We think parties at the pool are a great option because it takes out all the stress of organising the party for the parents".

Parties booked at the pool can be run by one of the qualified pool employees.

The instructor can take the children for an hour and entertain them with some of the more than 30 games we have created for all age groups.

Andrea says this allows the children to also have free swim time, as well as some time for food and the all-important cake.

Andrea says the pool is a great place to host a party as it provides a high-energy environment for the kids.

"Not only have we created games, we have purchased heaps of new pool toys and equipment that can be used to keep the kids going." The activities will include spot prizes sourced by staff.

With winter parties it can be tricky to find a venue that suits any weather, but Andrea says the pool provides a perfect indoor environment - and there's no mess for the parents to clean up.

Staff are happy to tailor parties to a family's needs, however bookings do need to be made at least two weeks in advance.
