On Tuesday, April 7, two men aged in their twenties were driving around the Toko area in a white 1987 Toyota Corolla car with a black bonnet, registration RQ6498. They were seen by a sharp-eyed farmer who had the presence of mind to call police after he became suspicious. They were described as a dark-skinned male, 26yrs, medium build, black afro-style hair, bit of facial hair and a half-cast male, 20yrs, skinny build, 6ft, black wavy hair.
About 15 minutes later, the vehicle was found by police and the two occupants were arrested. Some property was recovered from the car that police knew did not belong to the occupants.
The two offenders were charged with burglary.
