IN HOPES of drawing the crowds that will flock to Lake Rotokare over summer to town, the Eltham Business and Professional Association have put together a glossy brochure highlighting what Eltham has to offer to visitors.
Put together by association members Joycelyn Carter and Marilyne Gernhofer, the brochure encompasses everything from local accommodation and meal venues, to festival events, craft hot spots and services and trades.
"We approached local businesses to see if they would be interested in featuring in the brochure and they have all been supportive and are thrilled to a part of the project," said Marilyne.
The brochure was officially launched at a Christmas dinner last Wednesday and has the support of the South Taranaki District Council (STDC).
"The dinner was fantastic. The brochure was well-received and our guest speaker, STDC deputy mayor, Debbie Packer, spoke wonderfully," said Marilyne.
The brochures will be available from December 1, from information centres, STDC libraries and participating businesses.
