The "Mountain Men and River Men" will bring together two of New Zealand's 12 male choirs at 2pm on Sunday (August 3) in Hawera's Memorial Theatre.
The Mountain Men (Taranaki) and River Men (Wanganui), who have performed together twice before, will sing some numbers from their own repertoires, plus there will be two combined brackets including several of the numbers they sang at the festival in Auckland last year.
Many members of the two choirs also perform as part of the New Zealand Male Choir.
The Taranaki choir is directed by Don Boyd with accompanist Marina Roskilly, while Wanganui's director is Judy Barrett with accompanist Abigail Livesay.
Guests artists include barbershop groups Western Peak Harmony Chorus and the Short Back & Sides Quartet.
