Midlands cruised past Central in the men's game with a 5-0 score at final time.
In the women's game, the defending champions Midlands beat Central, however it was tight game with a final score of 3-2.
Central Men's luck didn't improve on Sunday, with their match against Capital seeing them lose 5-1 at Paraparaumu.
On the same pitch, the women took on their Capital counterparts in a closely fought game that saw Central come out the winners, 3-2.
