The Eltham community garden has been made a little brighter this week with the addition of a mural.
It has been designed by students of E-town Youth, Eltham Primary School teacher Fleur Le Bas, founders of the E-kai community garden Janice and Howard Hughes, and the Eltham Lions Club.
The mural design won the national Resene Best Mural Design competition in March which covered the cost of bringing the mural to life.
E-Town Youth co-ordinator Steffy McKay is pleased to see everyone's efforts on display for the community and is grateful to Ian and Donald Murray from Eltham Building Supplies for framing and installing the mural free of charge.
