Victoria Park was full of chocolate hunting children last Thursday, when The Hits Taranaki Easter Egg Hunt came to Stratford, thanks to sponsors PrimoWireless.
The Easter Bunny was also there to high five and pose for photos with youngsters as they waited for the hunt to begin.
Bryan Vickery, from the Hokonui Breakfast show, (also part of the NZME group which includes the Stratford Press, the NZ Herald and The Hits) led the countdown to the start of the hunt.
Three-year-old Jacksen Thomas was happy with his collection of five chocolate eggs, saying he thought the green ones would taste the best, "because The Hulk is green and he is the best". His sister Libby (4) wasn't bothered about the colours, just the numbers. "I found seven eggs which is more than my age is and more eggs than my brother found."
