There was plenty of festive cheer in south Taranaki as crowds enjoyed the annual Eltham Lions Club Christmas Parade.
The event, which took place on Friday, December 6, had the theme of “Christmas” with different community organisations using tinsel, ornaments and decorations to showcase the festive theme.
Judges had their work cut out for them in deciding the best floats. This year’s prize pool was $900, with first place winning $400, second place winning $200 and $100 for third.
First place went to Ngaere School, Nature’s Wonder came second and won and third was Eltham Pony Club.
Eltham Lions Club member Clare Bramley said the event was enjoyed by everyone.
