"I was surprised that we were nominated, so to win was just incredible," says Adan Larsen of Adan Larsen Builders, winner of the Romeo Award sponsored by the Stratford Press for the Best Non-Retail Service Business.
Adan, who has run Adan Larsen Builders for 10 years, says "we try to do the best we can every day and it is so great to be recognised for that".
Adan says he and his team of eight local staff really enjoy what they do. "We all get huge satisfaction helping people achieve their dreams because building a house can be a huge step for people."
He and his team pride themselves on quality of workmanship and being punctual, "we are absolutely loyal to our word".
Adan says much of the success of the business can be attributed to his wife Kelly. "Kelly is a huge part of what we do, she handles all the administrative side of the business, we couldn't do what we do without her." He also acknowledges his staff, "they have always been so loyal to the company".
