ROLL UP: From left, Beverley Luscombe, federation president, and the winners of the Challenge Trophy for the North Taranaki Federation of WI, Evelyn Webster skip, Margaret Loveridge second, Daphne Riley lead. Six WIs sent teams to the annual indoor bowls tournament at Inglewood on Wedesday, August 20. The teams were made up of bowlers and non-bowlers. Winner was Evelyn Webster from Tikorangi WI, followed by Lyn Potroz (Tikorangi) and Janice Mossop (Lower Mangorei). The Tikorangi team will go on to play at the South Taranaki tournament in Hawera and then Wanganui.
