Forward planning and a few little helpers saw Trish Jones successfully fill two shopping trolleys during her one minute grocery grab at New World Stratford on Monday afternoon.
Trish was the lucky winner of the Team Hope fundraising raffle and was given one minute to grab up to $500 worth of groceries. Trish says she was excited to have won the raffle and had carefully planned out which shelves she was aiming for in the one-minute scramble.
All the members of Team Hope, a local charity group, were at New World to cheer Trish on as she dashed through the aisles.
Tina Jones, member of Team Hope, says the raffle tickets raised $1300 for the group and the money will be used towards one of their upcoming projects.
The group wanted to thank everyone in the community who purchased a raffle ticket and also New World Stratford for their generous prize donation.
