LAST Thursday evening saw the opening of Stratford Art Society's annual exhibition at the Percy Thomson Gallery on Prospero Place in Stratford.
Lyall Barrett, the Art Society president, opened the exhibition and thanked all the 58 exhibitors for the 248 works on display at the gallery.
During his speech Lyall awarded a life membership of the society to Sue Morton, the current vice president and curator of the Percy Thomson Gallery for her sterling work since joining the society in 1985.
The exhibition itself runs until December 15 and is well worth a visit.
