Zinedine Zidane's sensational debut as Real Madrid manager has understandably been lauded across the continent following his side's 5-0 demolition of Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend.
Gareth Bale was given an ovation at the Bernabeu after scoring an impressive hat-trick while Karim Benzema bagged a brace during the one-sided contest - but it was the France legend who stole the headlines after replacing unpopular Rafa Benitez at the helm.
Zidane also appeared to credit himself by saying: "Nothing has changed between the players, only the coach has changed" beneath AS' headline of 'Magnifico', which also described Bale - who has been linked with a move to Manchester United - as 'colossal'.
The Spanish press were effusive in their praise of Zidane while L'Equipe simply stated 'It Promises'.
Madrid paper Marca was even more effusive in its praise, claiming a 'radical change in Madrid' with the team showing 'possession, sacrifice, speed, pressure and good football' in the game that took them within two points of la Liga leaders Barcelona who have a game in hand.
