KEY POINTS:
New Zealand Laser sailor Josh Junior and boys' 29er crew Paul Snow-Hansen and Blair Tuke stayed second overall in their classes after yesterday's races in the youth world yachting championships in Canada.
Junior had placings of fourth, seventh and 13th at Kingston to be 14 points behind leader Pavlos Kontides of Cyprus in a 38-boat fleet.
Snow-Hansen and Tuke had finishes of eighth, fifth and sixth among the 23 boats in their event to be seven points behind top spot.
Danes Henrik Sagaard and Soren Kristen-sen are the leading 29er crew, but face a protest from Poland over the first race.
New Zealand boardsailors Justina Sellers and Josh Nixon were eighth overall in the respective girls' and boys' RS:X competitions.
The regatta has reached its midway stage, with all crews having sailed at least six races.
