Yachting: Velux 5 skippers leave

Five skippers have set off in the Velux 5 Oceans race, a 30,000-nautical mile solo adventure around the globe.

The skippers will sail their yachts across five oceans over nine months, with stops at Cape Town, Wellington, Salvador in Brazil and Charleston in South Carolina before returning to France.
