Team New Zealand entry Camper has lost ground overnight on leg one of the Volvo Ocean race.
The Chris Nicholson skippered boat has slipped to more than 62 nautical miles adrift of leader Telefonica.
Camper is last out of the four boats on the water.
Puma Ocean racing is second, just under five nautical miles off the lead as the boats head south towards Cape Town with the finish expected in just over two weeks.
