The gusty breeze again conspired against Team New Zealand who didn't take to the water and dropped to second-equal on day 12 of the Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting regatta at La Maddalena, Italy.
Only two round robin matches were raced, with Italians Mascalzone Latino beating Britain's TeamOrigin by 35 seconds and the multinational All4One defeating French hopes Aleph by 15sec.
Team NZ will now be first up tomorrow against Mascalzone Latino followed by the match between Swedish leaders Artemis and All4One, with a shortened quarterfinal programme to follow before the regatta ends on Sunday.
The New Zealanders' 5-3 win-loss record leaves level with All4One in second place, although that could improve with victory tomorrow.
