HOBART - South Australian yacht Secret Men's Business 3.5 was named overall winner in the Sydney to Hobart race on Thursday.
Race organisers announced Geoff Boettcher's rebuilt 51-footer had won the prestigious race on a corrected time of four days, one hour, 29 minutes and 40 seconds.
It was the second year in a row the honours went to an Adelaide boat, after Two True claimed the prize in 2009.
Race organisers met in Hobart to confirm the winner on Thursday morning.
Supermaxi Wild Oats XI was awarded her fifth line honours in six years on Wednesday, but had to defeat a protest from the race committee.
Her time was two days, seven hours and 37 minutes, well short of the race record she set in 2005.
A total of 18 boats retired from this year's race, most because of the gale force winds which lashed the southern NSW coast on Tuesday.
The last boat in the remaining fleet was Wave Sweeper, which was expected to arrive in Hobart by 1pm on Friday.
