Yachting: Sanderson leads way to capital

New Zealander Mike Sanderson is leading the charge in the third leg of the round-the-world race from Melbourne to Wellington.

Last night Sanderson's ABN Amro One, which has five Kiwis on board, held a 21 nautical mile lead over movistar with 706 nautical miles to sail.

The leaders are expected in Wellington tomorrow.
